Cristiano Ronaldo rape lawsuit dismissed
The first round of the Cristiano Ronaldo rape lawsuit has been dismissed. A previous court ruling said that the district attorney could not pursue criminal charges against Ronaldo because there was no evidence to support the claim. A new trial will be set for February to determine the outcome of the lawsuit. In the meantime, Kathryn Mayorga can appeal to the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
