Joker Gaming

A Japanese manga series based on the comic books, Joker Game, is becoming popular in the United States. The show has been translated into English and adapted into an animated television series, as well as a live-action film. The live-action film adaptation was produced by Production I.G. and aired from April to June of 2016. There are 12 episodes in total. The anime follows a similar plot line to the comic book series.

The first image macro to link Joker to gaming appeared on 9gag in early April 2015. It received over 520 comments and 38,600 points. The earliest known image macro associating Joker to gaming was posted to 4chan's /lit/ board on May 2, 2017. The caption claimed that "gamers are better in bed than non-gamers". Since then, the sexy mascot has been associated with gamers since the first day the meme was posted.
