Silversnowbal in the Catskills - Spectacular Winter Activities in Westchester

Silversnowbal is the world's only indoor, outdoor snow sport facility. This building features a gym and snow park that offers lessons for skiing, snowboarding, and snow-shoeing.

There are two main parts to Silversnowbal: the Snow Park and the Gym. Both of these facilities have fun activities that you can use to get your adrenaline pumping in preparation for winter! The Gym is basically a huge indoor snow skating rink which features 20 different levels of ramps and airs, allowing the skater to choose the best conditions for their skill level. Also included in the gym is a special library with books on snowboarding, as well as a do it yourself library with DVDs and videos, allowing you to learn the basics of the sport.

In addition to the gym and the snow park, Silversnowbal also features indoor and outdoor bars, with outdoor beers and cold drinks. Some of the equipment and bars are included in the gym, but most of it is purchased on your own. This facility offers everything you need to make the perfect winter vacation!

The gym features an indoor ski slope for beginners and makes a great spot for beginners to learn how to ski on the slopes. However, do not worry if you have been skiing for a while! The two regular ski lifts that run through the building are handicap accessible.

The third segment of Silversnowbal is the Snow Park. This is where Silversnowbal opens its doors to guests on Tuesdays and Thursdays in December, with the more experienced skiers or snowboarders allowed to use the entire park on Saturdays. There are two different snow parks: one indoors and one outdoor.

The Silversnowbal Outdoor Snow Park has two ski areas, with the former consisting of an old-fashioned half pipe in a tunnel. The other is a new snow slide, located in the middle of the indoor half pipe. Other equipment includes: all the latest snowboards and bindings, inflatable jump ramps, snowmobiles, and snow cannons. During the colder months, Silversnowbal operates four electric heaters, which gives guests the opportunity to enjoy an ice cream or cold drinks.

There are many events that Silversnowbal hosts throughout the year, including winter-themed birthday parties, employee parties, birthdays, corporate team building activities, and holiday parties. Even the biggest corporations hire Silversnowbal for seasonal events, such as conferences, product launches, and convention days. The variety of events is something you will not find anywhere else in the region!
